The surface here shown ist the under side. The tail is hidden, it is simply a flat kite and is only horizontal, is joined by the bars  AB and A'B _ The arms rest in these bars and the body goes through the clear space CD – Surface is [Nansock ?] muslin, thin coat of shellac- JS & JS' are struts and J & J' are the main folding joints
