Bericht über angeblichen Flugunfall Lilienthals: "Otto Lilienthal, of Berlin, an accomplished engineer, whose inventions in aeronautics have led to his designation as "the flying man," recently constructed a flying machine with which he succeeded in reaching considerable heights. While be was practicing on July 22, the wings of his machine collapsed at an altitude of 200 feet, and he fell to the ground. His fall was broken somewhat, but be was seriously injured inter-nally.
